OMVIC is looking for experienced leaders to contribute to Ontario’s automotive industry by joining the Discipline and Appeals Tribunals. This is a unique opportunity to support OMVIC’s mission of protecting consumers and promoting professionalism in Ontario’s motor vehicle sales industry.

Opportunities Available

Discipline and Appeals Tribunals

The Tribunals uphold industry standards by handling cases related to violations of the Code of Ethics and independently addressing issues referred by OMVIC’s Registrar.

Open Positions:

  • Three (3) Salespeople, Directors or Officers of new or used car dealerships.
    Appointments are to both the Discipline Tribunal and the Appeals Tribunals.

Details:

  • Term: Three years
  • Appointments: July 2026 by the OMVIC Board of Directors
  • Compensation: Per diems and expense reimbursement
  • Commitment: Virtual hearings, meetings, training, between one and two half-days per month (average)
