OMVIC is looking for experienced industry leaders to serve on its Board of Directors.

OMVIC’s mandate is to maintain a fair, safe, and informed marketplace for motor vehicle sales in Ontario. The OMVIC Board oversees the effective administration of this mandate on behalf of Ontarians. Board members set strategic direction, provide financial and governance oversight, and act in good faith and in the best interests of OMVIC and the public.

Open Industry Position:

One (1) Industry Director – Must be a registered motor vehicle dealer or salesperson, or an individual who is a director, officer, employee, or agent of a registered motor vehicle dealer, or a director, officer, employee, member, or agent of an industry association representing motor vehicle dealers or salespersons.

Details:

  • Term: Three years
  • Commitment: Six to eight in-person board meetings annually and virtual committee participation
  • Compensation: Per diems and expense reimbursement
  • Election: June 2026, at OMVIC’s Annual Meeting

The application deadline is March 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
