Key Decisions and Outcomes

Articles of Amendment Approved

Members approved Articles of Amendment to change the corporation’s legal name from Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) to Ontario Motor Vehicle Regulatory Authority (OMVRA).

Directors Elected

  • John Ulman was elected to the OMVIC Board of Directors as an Industry Director for a three-year term. John is Director of Finance at Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC.
  • Linda Franklin was re-elected to the OMVIC Board of Directors as a Public Director for a three-year term. Linda currently serves as Vice-Chair of the OMVIC Board.

2025 Financial Statements Presented

Members received the audited financial statements and an update on OMVIC’s continued progress toward long-term financial sustainability.

Auditors Appointed

Members appointed Hogg, Shain & Sheck Professional Corporation as OMVIC’s auditors for the year ending December 31, 2026.
