As part of OMVIC’s commitment to maintaining a secure environment for you to conduct your business with us – we are enhancing the security features on the portal that require you to sign in to the portal and reset your password. In addition, we have enabled multi-factor authentication (MFA) as an added layer of protection. With MFA, you will have the option to receive a security code either as a text to your cell phone or via email to the email address we have on file for you. Effective Monday, March 23, 2026, your existing password to log into the OMVIC portal will no longer work.
Follow these steps on or after March 23 to reset your password:
- Click on the link here: OMVIC portal
- Enter your email address and click the Next button
- On the Enter password screen, click on Forgot your password?
- On the Verify your identity screen, click the email icon and a security code will be sent to the email address we have on file for you
- Check your spam or junk folder for your account verification code. The email will be sent from a Microsoft email account ([email protected])
- Enter the security code in the appropriate box and then click Verify
- You will be prompted to enter your new password twice and then click Reset password
(Note: your new password must be at least 8 characters. Your password is case sensitive and must include 3 of the following: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, or symbol.) - You will receive a pop-up acknowledgement that you have successfully reset your password
