On Thursday, May 20, 2021, the Ontario government announced its Roadmap to Reopen, a three-step plan to reopen the province and gradually lift public health restrictions depending on key public health indicators, including vaccination rates.

As of Friday, May 21, 2021, there are no immediate changes affecting dealership operations. The province’s stay-at-home order and its restrictions for dealerships remain in effect until at least June 2, 2021. Additional information about restrictions for dealerships after the stay-at-home order expires will be communicated as soon as they become available.

OMVIC will continue to conduct inspections remotely until further notice.
