OMVIC’s by-law amendment

OMVIC’s by-law no. 1 has been amended to comply with the statutory orders issued by the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and with Ontario’s new Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010.
The OMVIC Board of Directors approved the amended by-law on May 23, 2023, for confirmation by members at the 2023 annual meeting.
Virginia West, Chair of OMVIC’s Board of Directors, alongside Maureen Harquail, OMVIC’s Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, as well as John Wilkinson, Partner at WeirFoulds LLP, will be hosting an informational webinar on Friday, June 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (ET) for all registrants, to provide an opportunity to ask questions about the by-law changes.
